The Centre for Computer Training at the Bulgarian Industrial Association was established in 1998. It started first with courses for computing, Internet, Marketing on the Internet, gradually broadening the variety of courses and offering training in Programming with Visual C++, Java, as well as courses in web design – attending and distant variants(HTML, Java script, Front Page) etc.
The centre is certified by the National agency of professional education and training and issues nationally recognized certificate.
The lecturers in the centre are highly qualified specialists with good methodological approach.
The centre has 2 training rooms with air-condition, 11 workplaces, modern technique, multimedia, 24-hour access to Internet.
Since the beginning of 2001, the Centre has also been a Regional Cisco Academy for training networkers, who after the accomplishing of the 4-semester training have to opportunity to get a worldwide-recognized certificate for CCNA – (Cisco Certified Network Associate). The instructors in the academy are trained abroad specialists.
Cisco Academy at the Bulgarian Industrial Association is the first academy in Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and the countries of former Yugoslavia, which is also an Academy for teaching professionals – CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
The CCNP instructor in the Academy passed his training in Birmingham, England.
